Kanzler & Wischnewski are the shooting stars of Berlin´s OSTFUNK label and represent like very few other musicians the sound of 2013 in the German capital, The release of their first album "Chameleon" is not only a milestone for their career to them but a real masterpiece of the current Berlin sound. The Album title "Chameleon" is a key note, each track is grooving in a different style and as in their DJ sets K & W present themselves as many-sided all rounders. The title track "Chameleon" shows already the direction and shows K & W's magic formula: The combination of impressive vocals, strong percussive elements and wind instrument samples are leading to a characteristic groove. 4 tracks are outstanding - those where the duo is working with Annie Jacklin, a vocalist with Hungarian roots who lives in Switzerland and who gives the vocal for this albums hit - Sunshine'. The K & W's "Chameleon" has the potential to be an album that will be remembered in many years to come.
