Band,
Singer / Musician of Rock
Kaothic started off in 2001, founded by guitar player Alberto Marin. It started as a Death Metal band, with brutal death metal singer David Cuñado on the vocals, Marcos de la Calle on drums and Gustavo Romero on bass guitar, playing some concerts. In 2002 they entered the studio to record their first album with the best metal music producer in Spain, Big Simon (Saratoga, Ebony Ark, Not For Us, Terroristars). During the recording sessions, they realized that they didn't want such a brutal approach to their music, and therefore the singer was replaced by David Curtonates (Not For US, Terroristars). The recording was on hiatus during the composition of some final arrangements and the search for a new singer. Finally, in 2004 went back to the studio and recorded "Order to Chaos" at M20 Studios with Big Simon, releasing it through Avispa Records. The acclaim of both public and critics was very good and led them to play with bands such as Avulsed or Killswitch Engage, recording a song for Avulsed's tribute album. In 2006 David Curtonates left the band just before entering the studio. After two months looking for a new singer, Cyro E. Sanchez (Skynet) joined the band. They are now preparing the new material for their upcoming album.
