"Carry Me Back To Old Virginny" (matrix 10804/Side R) was cut by Kaplan in the Edison Studio in Manhattan's Knickerbocker Building located at 5th Avenue & 16th Street (75-79 Fifth Avenue) in New York on January 29 of 1926 & was also issued on Edison Sample Record Number 6 (a 12" record that included other tracks by other artists) & Edison Blue Amberol cylinder 5116. On that same date & the same studios, Kaplan also cut 3 rejected takes of "The Old Oaken Bucket" (matrix 10805). However, he remade "The Old Oaken Bucket" (with James Doherty added for the arrangement) (matrix 10868/Side L) on March 5 of 1926, which was also issued on Edison Blue Amberol cylinder 5155.
