Czech operatic tenor. Born 12 January 1870 in Rousínov near Rakovník (Rakonitz, former Austro-Hungarian Empire), died 25 September 1924 in Senomaty, near Praha (Prague, former Czechoslovakia). Uncle of E. F. Burian, grand-uncle of Jan Burian and great-grand-uncle of Jiří Burian (2).
