Previously known as a Dutch top model, she had a hit with her cover of "I Am What I Am". She was born 1 June 1968 in Vlaardingen, Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands. Released in 1990, some consider "The Age of Love" to be the first true trance single. Produced by Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Cherchia, [²] with vocals by Karen Mulder.
