This is a rare compilation of tunes with solos from Karl (Carl) Drewo. It was compiled by his widow with the help of Peter Herbolzheimer a.o. Included are the very first recordings of Drewo under his name (tracks 11 and 12). Some of the tunes were already released on other LPs/CDs. Drewo is playing with the following groups: Kenny Clarke - Francy Boland Big Band; Peter Herbolzheimer Rhythm Combination Brass; ORF Big Band (leader Erich Kleinschuster); Lungau Big Band; On The Road Band; Carl Drewo Quartet; Das Große ORF Unterhaltungs Orchester; Recorded between 1956 - 1993 - see scans for details
