Gesang der Jünglinge has been reduced from the original five-track version to a two-track stereophonic synchronisation. Kontakte has been reduced from the original four-track version to a two-track stereophonic synchronisation. Kontakte was commissioned by Westdeutschen Rundfunks Köln and was completed in their studios from September 1959 to May 1960. The subtitle on record cover "Realisation des elektronischen Studios des WDR Köln" only applies to Kontakte. Program notes by the composer in English, French and German. SLPM. ST 33.
