Karoliinat was seven female and five men choir (1977-1981), who sang and play traditional Finnish songs and dances, church music, pop and rock. They came from Kauhajoki in Northern Finland. The group was founded by Ritva Kuoppamäki, the rector of Kauhajoki Music School. Karoliinat also performed in Sweden and in the United States, as well as major concerts like the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, in Finland.
