Kathleen "Kate" Capshaw Spielberg (born November 3, 1953) is an American actress, best known for her portrayal of Willie Scott, a spunky, stubborn and spoiled American night-club singer and performer in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. During production of the film, she met the director Steven Spielberg (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws), whom she later married.
