Costa Rican Death Metal band founded in 2002 by bassist and vocalist Esteban Monestel (ex-Theriomorph, Ex-December's Cold Winter). Monestel joins forces with guitarist Jonathan Sanchez in creating an extreme metal band. After performing in some festivals and opening for Disgorge (2) (from Mexico), the band's lineup is completed with the arrival of drummer Ignacio Blanco (ex-Soul Absentia) and guitarist Sergio Rosales. In 2005, the band releases their first demo CD with 6 songs, receiving good reviews from fans and magazines. In 2007, the band re-master demo tunes plus new songs under the title "The Beginning of Desolation. In 2008, the band changed their name to Catarsis Incarne.
