Single US 1991 on Desolation Row Records label
Rock (Alternative Rock, Acoustic, Psychedelic Rock, Indie Rock, Neofolk)
Mixed at the Works, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. ℗ © Voice of Turtle Came with lyrics insert. A note on the title[s]: The title is in proper French "la Fille d'un laboureux". 'laboureux' is arcane French, but a proper word. The American record-label (not the band) mis-spelled 'Filles' and "Laboureaux" both times on the sleeve and on the label, but it appears correctly as "La fille d'un laboureux' on the band-designed lyrics insert. In order to make this release searchable by both spellings, the correct song title is used for the track-listing, while the release title is as [mis] printed on the sleeve. 'Mastered at' GLP means here 'Processed at'. GLP and mastering studio are identified with matrix.
