Chased her dreams into the New Orleans music community thru an association with Allen Toussaint, Mac Rebennack, The Nevilles, Lee Allen and many others. First project was as creator and member of Crescent City Gold. She became the jack of all trades with NYNO Records, producing, coordinating, and finding talent as Allen Toussaint's assistant in the studio and around town. She assisted and managed in every minute of studio time during the NYNO Records period at Sea-Saint Studios reporting directly to Allen Toussaint. She has also worked on several music documentaries, A Tribute To Toussaint, Make It Funky, Sunshine By The Stars Celebrating Louisiana Music, and Deacon John's Jump Blues.
