Violinist. KATIE LANSDALE (violin) is a founding member of the Lions Gate Trio, trio in residence at the Hartt School, where she teaches. She made her debut with the Baltimore Symphony at fourteen. She earned her B.A. cum laude from Yale and graduate music degrees from Cleveland Institute and Manhattan School. Her recordings include new French trios (Triton label,) the solo Bach violin works, and most recently the duos and trios of Robert Schumann (Centaur label.) She has collaborated in chamber concerts with Yo Yo Ma, the Miami String Quartet, Robert MacDonald, Ron Leonard, and others, and was featured at the Amalfi Coast Chamber Festival in Italy this summer.
