Katy Bowser is an independent singer/songwriter from Nashville and is greatly influence by the jazz, bluegrass and folk scene of the American south-east. She is joined on stage and in the studio by multi-instrumentalist and former Vigilantes Of Love member Kenny Hutson, who co-writes many of Katy's songs as well as playing the guitar, dobro, mandolin, lap steel and pedal steel among other things. The pair are noted for their lively and playful stage shows which they have perfected over the course of almost 10 years in the music business (both independently and as a duo). Katy is also a member of the Square Peg Alliance, a collective of like-minded singer/songwriters.
