Keef Hartley (born 8 April 1944, Preston, Lancashire, England - died 26 November 2011, Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire, England) was an English drummer and percussionist who played with some of the greatest British blues rock musicians. He replaced Ringo Starr as drummer for Rory Storm & The Hurricanes. His own band The Keef Hartley Band was the first British band to play at the Woodstock Festival. He retired from the music industry in the mid-1970's.
