"This CD is a musical representation of some of Abbott's best selling drugs or, if you will, Abbott's greatest hits. The discreet melodies on this CD were derived from the "compound number" (or A-number) assigned to the drug when it was discovered. This number, or code, is then transferred to the pitches of a standard musical scale to produce a characteristic melody. As an example, in the key of C major, the code 56268 (Biaxin®) is played as the single tones: G, A, D, A, C. A piece of music is created around the tone numbers for that drug. The composition is then arranged and orchestrated using the latest technology to produce a beautiful musical score..."
