Ken Phillips has created and directed national publicity campaigns for numerous artists including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jonas Brothers, Cheap Trick, Goo Goo Dolls, Joni Mitchell, Van Halen, Hanson and American Idol’s James Durbin. He launched Ken Phillips Publicity Group, Inc. in May, 1997. He began his career in the music industry as the manager of Diane Warren's publishing company, Realsongs. He joined Warner Bros. Records in 1992 and was later promoted to West Coast Publicity Manager before forming his own PR firm in 1997.
