Japanese composer / arranger. Born July 1, 1958. Known for producing & composing soundtracks for various anime, tokusatsu & video games in 1980-2000s, most notably of various Dragon Ball video games, as well as various pop arrangements. He's also credited as Kenz, and is part of the group of composers called MONOLITH = モノリス who performed on various Dragon Ball soundtracks. He's the father of the lyricist cAnON.. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH Kenji Yamamoto, the Metroid series composer with the same name with different Kanji spelling (山本健誌, born April 25, 1964). Name variations: Kenji "Yamaken" Yamamoto / 山本"ヤマケン"健司.
