Album US 1974 on Green Tree Records label
Spoken Word (Spoken Word)
Kenneth Patchen taped some of his Fables while bedfast in his own home several years ago. Although the record was announced for release more than five years ago, it is only now that this gloriously freewheeling world of Rosie Bottom, Mrs. Arglutt, the Blue People, the Candlesniffer and others of Kenneth Patchen's world come alive off the pages in his voice(s). This was made possible by Miriam Patchen's using monies which resulted from meetings in memory of the poet after his death in 1972.
