A.k.a. Kenny Ray Ladner
Born in Lodi, California on January 11, 1950 Kenny "Blue" Ray is a life-long blues musician. He has worked with acts like Little Charlie & The Nightcats, Marcia Ball, Mitch Woods, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Lee Hooker, Charlie Musselwhite, Smokey Wilson, William Clarke and many others . He is known for his fat guitar overtones, complex chord changes and lightning-fast chops that tend to draw rock fans into the blues fold. Since 1994, he has released many solo CDs. First on Blue Ray Records (1994 -1996), followed by Tone King Records (1996 - 2001), and Blue Kat Records (2002). He also recorded for JSP Records (UK) and Full Moon Records (AUS).
