Singer / Musician of Blues
American blues slide guitarist and vocalist. Born July 5, 1953 in Selma, Alabama. He studied with Joe Callicott, Johnny Woods, and Mississippi Fred McDowell, before starting to performed with R.L. Burnside in 1971. Brown's guitar playing was featured in the 2006 film "Black Snake Moan", where he provided backing for star Samuel L. Jackson's vocals. Lives in Potts Camp, Mississippi.
