Discovered the band KISS and co-produced their first two albums. Born 1948 died 2014. Other artists Kerner produced included Dust, Jose Feliciano, Teena Marie, Steve Marriott and Badfinger. He also wrote or co-wrote more than 300 songs. In addition to producing, Kerner also worked in publicity, management and teaching.
