Recorded at home, Château de Maignelay, Oct 75 to Sep 76 on a Revox + a Uher recorder. A1 : the beginning of this session, A2 : A chamber situation, For my friend Michael Smith. A3 : intended for 4 cellos A4 : First meeting, A5 : a sort of Dance. For my wife, Michala Marcus, B1 : A negative / B positive for Steve Lacy who inspired this piece. B2 : dedicated to the late Cannonbal Adderly, B3 : variations on a theme B4 : dedicated to my father B1, B2 and B4 all make extensive use of reverb and delay, although this is not mentioned on the cover.
