When it comes to capturing audiences, no one does it quite like Toronto r&b artist; Keon Love. In addition to her powerful vocals, her rare blend of unique harmony, versatility and dynamic personality; leaves all captivated with a memorable sound and feeling to the soul. Whether live or in the studio: her distinctive voice dominates the environment she presents herself to. She is definitely a pleasant presence to be in. Being a poet and writing her own songs is a definite plus that makes her stand out from the rest Keon has been involved in is the Music Against Violence Tour, for the past 4 years with close friend Ron Fresh CEO of 3rd Degree Clothing and other local Toronto artists. They have worked hand in hand to promote music over drugs and violence. Tours to cities including Cornwall, Hamilton and Montreal to name a few have been a huge success. A memorable show was held in Scarborough ON and had a lot of attendees as they brought Ex Rocafella Records artist Peedi Crack as well as the legendary DJ Scratch from the hip hop group The Roots. Keon expresses her eagerness to broaden the tour to the West Coast this year to spread the message of love on a larger scale. She has been featured on Rogers T.V “Toronto’s Talent” & “MuchVibe.” Various projects, including U Of T’s Annual V Day Celebration have also been included on her roster. In the summer of 2011, Keon joined other underground female artists at The Loft Community Centre, for a compilation album that was released in July that year. In Jan 2012 Keon was featured on rap artist Sling Dadz heart felt single called Strive, produced by Tone Mason. With the positive feedback it has received, the track is presumed to be a hit. Keon has just released her first single & video entitled Relax and has led to a lot of requests for more music. She recently took the stage for a collabo with Reggae artist Sample King at The Popcaan & Baby Cham Show at Toronto’s Sound Academy. She will be showcasing in many events and live shows for 2012! Keon is wrapping up the final touches to her first album entitled “Love Chronicles” that is scheduled for release this year. Her patience in putting together the album has been for the past two years and has worth the wait and features producers such as Smokeshop Prod, Rich Kidd & Snaz,Tek N Clips, Kins Smuv & others. In addition to her full plate of music, Keon has recently started her own business as an entrepreneur of a herbal business as a Holistic Nutritionist and is helping others heal their body naturally.
