Ian Simpson (born July 16, 1996), better known by his stage name Kevin Abstract, is an American hip-hop artist and songwriter currently based out of San Marcos, Texas. His most recent project was his debut album from 2014 titled MTV1987 that generated buzz from many major music blogs and magazine publications. His sophomore effort 'They Shoot Horses' is slated for release sometime in 2016.
