Saxophone - Currently residing in Ajax, Ontario, Canada Originally from Nova Scotia. Member of Big Wind Band (bigwindband.com), Funk It Up, The Power Connection I have been a saxophonist for 29 years and have played professionally since the age of 15. During that time, I have performed with such artists as Rosemary Clooney, Leslie Gore, Gary Lewis, Melba Moore, Frankie Valli, Marvin Stamm, Rob McConnell, Pat LaBarbera, NOJO, Dutch Mason, the Drifters, and ECMA Winner Theresa Malenfant. I have recorded CDs with numerous artists in Jazz, Pop, Urban, and Country contexts as well as performing in many commercial jingles and on national television and radio broadcasts. I have taught Music for ten years, as well as English, Civics, Careers, History, Geography, and Family Studies. I have led award-winning jazz and concert ensembles at regional, national, and international music festivals. (2014) Specialties:I specialize in saxophones and clarinet, with a focus on baritone saxophone. I have extensive experience in jazz and commercial music and I have eight years' experience with DUNAI, a Toronto-based Ukranian ensemble.
