Writer / experimental musician / visual artist based in Toronto. Ran the label Inyrdisk from 2005 to 2016. Performed on 84 releases to date with various groups or as a solo artist. Performed live and sometimes recorded with bands Disguises, The Pink Noise, Magic Cheezies, Cave Dudes, Glass Tomb, Tranz DeFoncé, and others. Kapali Carsi is Hainey's experimental solo project. Zone Support is a new age duo with Man Made Hill that explores modes of self-fulfillment and meditation. Vorvis / Hainey was a duo with drummer Jack Vorvis that would include a rotating third member for live appearances. The Bad Touch was a single session project with Vanessa Rieger. Band Sabbath is a project which deconstructs common vinyl records, in this case by The Band and Black Sabbath.
