Kevin Rix

g,
Musician / Composer of Soundtrack and Electronic

Kevin Rix is a composer for Audiomachine and RIX. His love of music began early in life, and he played guitar for various rock bands growing up. He attended Duquesne University's music program, where he was introduced to classical music and jazz. He realized his passion for composition and discovered his desire to compose and work with different instruments and different sounds. After graduating from college, Kevin moved to LA in order to pursue music professionally. He was working on a demo reel when he met Paul Dinletir. He started working as Paul's assistant and quickly became a primary trailer composer for Paul's company. His music has been featured in many high-profile movie campaigns over the years, including Avatar and How to Train Your Dragon. Kevin also writes for RIX, an experimental project focused on modular synthesizers. RIX's first album, Uncivilized, was released in August of 2018.
