Khairil Johari Johar has worked at Musician, studied at Berklee College of Music and lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Khairil Johari Johar is also a songwriter, composer, lyricist, producer and musician. Formal music education at the Master of Music (Jazz Studies) at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Mass, USA and Bachelor of Music (Professional Music) at the Berkley College of Music, Boston, Mass, USA. Prior to that he served as a cultural officer at the Cultural Center of the University of Malaya 1985 to 1987 and a lecturer in the Department of Music, Faculty of Arts, University Teknologi MARA from 1990 to the present. He has won various competitions such winner of Malaysia Patriotic Song Competition in 1984, he also produced by the local singer such as Terbang Helang by Sharifah Aini, Sabar Menanti by the late singer,Sudirman Haji Arshad and also Kesedaran by DJ Dave.
