A.k.a. Dimitris Polioudis Jimmy Polioudis Mazoha The Vagina Lips Valley Of Love & The Archangel Cobra
Kid Galax, aka Dimitris "Jimo" Polioudis, spends most of his days playing guitar and writing songs in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. Educated by the likes of ‘80s neoromanticism and Morrissey’s vocal delirium, fused with the emotional outbirsts of the '90s grunge scene and the discrete melodrama of scandinavian post-millenial indie pop, Kid Galax formed his own unique, pulsating vocal and graphic lyrical style. Working on several side projects along his solo material, he is also credited as a guest vocalist and writer in both of Monsieur Minimal’s acclaimed solo albums (“Lollipop” - Sound of Everything, 2008, “Pasta Flora” - Sound of Everything, 2010) with whom he has shared a stage and an apartment in the past. Having already built a strong online fanbase and increasing local media buzz, his debut has become one of the most anticipated albums emerging from the new Greek indie scene. His debut album “Lullabites” was released on December 15, 2011 by the newly found Break Even records. The album’s 13 songs -10 featuring English and 3 Greek lyrics- are all written by Kid Galax and recorded at Studio 45 in Thessaloniki, with producer Aris Karakasis. Changed name to Valley Of Love & The Archangel Cobra in 2015.
