Kiko Peres was born on March 16, 1972 and at age 11 began playing the guitar. His passion for the instrument is so great that in 1991 he will study for a year at Guitar Instiute of Technology in Los Angeles, California. In 1993, Kiko joined the funk-rock band "Pravda" and in 1995, they released the album "Pravda" with production of Tom Capone. In 1996, Pravda gives some time and he is invited to be part of the Natiruts, which at this time is still called Nativus. He accepts and the guitarist stays in the band until 2002. In the meantime, in 1998, he records his first solo album, which he calls "Pirate", however in 2002, after he leaves Natiruts, Kiko starts to dedicate himself to solo career, releasing more than 10 albums, which ranges from guitar to yoga, to Jimi Hendrix, samba-funk. However, in 2012, he returns to the Natiruts and participates in #NoFilter and the Brazilian Natiruts Reggae DVD.
