Killa Kaunn was raised in Detroit Mi on the westside of the city !. Kaunn has been involved with ent since his early years as a student at Cass Technical High School with his group Minor Prophitz. In the late 90's Kaunn traveled the world with A Tribe Called Quest on the underdawgs of Hiphop tour with over 40 dates. Upon return from tour Kaunn competed in 100's of rap battle competitions winning the coveted Spitfest Championship in 01, 02, and 03 while making his mark on several dvd's as well as appearing on BET's 106 & Park's free style Fridays. In 2004 Kaunn joined the Super Group Purple Gang which was assembled by Detroit HipHop Legend Big Proof of D12. While a member of Purple Gang Kaunn toured the U.S. twice once on the D12 World tour and the last nationwide tour was the Anger Management tour with Eminem, 50 Cent, G unit, and M.O.P. KK Produxions was birthed in 2008 after the Selling of Alvins nightclub and Kaunn took off like a Rocket ! Selling out shows and parties at Tnt's, The Ritz, Alvins, DetroitPub, Eden, Studio 51, Honey, and Vondies just to name a few. Kaunn was recognized for his promotional performance by th people when he was voted Promoter of the Year at the Detroit People's Choice awards. 3m Photography is also a venture spearheaded by KIllz along with his partner Jermaine . 3m continues to be a leading contender in the photography field as they have graced the cover of several magazines as well placing models in major video productions.
