A.k.a. Carl Carment Cintio
Heavily influenced by Gangsta hiphop, Newcastle hardcore and Britney Spears, Killjoy purveys a distinctive style of high-speed, heavily programmed breakcore interspersed with sonically obliterated pop choruses and television jingles. After DJing at Sydney warehouse techno parties throughout the late nineties, Killjoy began to produce more subverted, mashed up material, becoming known for his brutal breakcore sets at Sydney's notorious System Corrupt parties. Killjoy has several releases on the infamous Australian label Painfree Foundsound, and also appears on the recently released PeaceOff Records compilation 'Kamikaze Club vol. 5'
