After a lifetime of embracing poetry and living hip hop culture Adelaide MC Kimence has officially landed with her debut LP “One View”. Kimence never expected to head down the path of making music herself, until as a late teen she noticed the benefits of releasing emotions by putting her poetry to a beat. Teaching herself the basics Kimence eventually took the plunge from being a "bedroom" emcee to hitting up producers such as Simplex to begin the recording process for her own material. Developing skill and technique over the years that followed, she recorded an album with friend and collaborator Alerts over simplex production in 2009 that remains unreleased. Since then Kimence has built her own studio, taken lessons in using Logic, recorded her own rhymes and worked with some of Australias best producers all the while rocking crowds and supporting acts such as Masta Ace, Terra Firma, Sky High, Chasm & Hau. Kimence has been a familiar face and voice in the local hip hop scene for over a decade, and whether on stage or in the studio Kimence has become known for tight flows and positive energy over quality production. After years spent refining her craft 2013 has seen everything come together for the completion of Kimence's debut LP.
