A.k.a. Mandingda
Zurich based, Swiss intercultural band, playing Griot crossover with Jazz and Hip Hop. The band's name is derived from the alias of frontman Lamin Jobarteh, which is the name for an African native harp. The band's songs are partially sung in African languages, e.g. Mandinka. The band was on tour in Gambia in 2007 to bring back their music to their cultural roots.
