Kintamarni Saxophone Quartet

Saxophone quartet formed in 1996 at the Royal Northern College of Music. Took their name from the volcano in Bali. Personnel on their two CDs released in 2000 and 2003 were Ruth Darby, Katy Hird, Katherine Brown and Jo Luckhurst. By 2006 the line-up (L-R in photo) was Katy Rimmer, Kath Small, Ruth Darby, Sarah Field. Hird/Rimmer and Brown/Small appear to be changes of name on marriage with Field replacing Luckhurst. Presumably now disbanded as their website no longer exists and Google searches reveal nothing later than a performance in Appleby on 16 March 2008.
