German bassist, long-serving member of Eloy. He was born in Hannover in 1950. Founded Morrision Gulf with Jürgen Rosenthal (another future Eloy member) in 1968. Joined Eloy in 1976. Since the early 90s "Matze" worked in tour management, currently as Managing Director of The Peter Rieger Concert Agency.
