The CD 'Ancient Novice' presents a visionary project - a suite aligning a classical string quintet (players of the BSO - Boston Symphony Orch.) with piano (Kob Arad). The music is composed all-through by Kobi Arad, full of lush harmonies, and modern-classical lyrical gestural embellishments; the piano weaves in-and-out with floating melodic improvisations, which complement the rich harmonies laid out by the strings. A bonus track for a string quartet and a Tape) Features four out of the original BSO members.
