Featuring Grammy Award Winner, Oran Etkin: Kobi Arad Band is Featuring Ray MacNaught, Drums Ramon Debruin, Bass Kobi Arad, piano This album debuts the band's new project 'Inner Hymns,' focusing on Jewish Yemenite, Morrocan and Ashkenazi esoteric hymns, aimed to elevate and attune the listener to higher spiritual states as in the Levitical temple tradition. Kobi Arad Band adds harmonic, textural and lyrical sonorities from the world of modern music. The result is a colorful and touching blend of mysticism, artistic abstraction, inner repose and reflection. This CD is echoing Kobi Arad Band's Lincoln Center Jazz and Blue Note NYC shows earlier this season.
