A.k.a. Jordan Sudak

Jordan Sudak spent the first half of his life as an army brat, moving with his paratrooper father and Haitian mother from city to city. Living in three countries by the age of 15, Jordan watched as his free-spirited parents slowly turned to a radical form of Protestantism, banning secular art and burning his Harry Potter books. 
 Finally settling in Columbia, South Carolina, things took a bizarre turn as his father's near-fatal heart attack triggered a 180 degree flip on religion for the entire family. Returning to the arts with a vengeance, his parents opened for an experimental rock band called The Radar Cinema, plugging teenage Jordan (claiming he was a family cousin) as the frontman. 
 Initially crafting Koda — a nickname he received due to his obsession with photography — in the world of ambient dream pop and Nordic folk, Jordan quickly saw support in the form of humbling comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke, and Jack White, as well as placements with STARZ, Square Enix, IFC Films, The CW, Red Bull Media House, and more. 
 It was enough to warrant a one-way ticket to Los Angeles. There, Koda would spend the next few years writing hundreds of songs as he developed his debut album “I Hope This Makes Us Better." 
 Due in 2018, the project marks a return to his rock roots, a blend of vocals-driven neue-gaze, post-rock, and alternative electronica.
