British female Reggae singer best known for working in the Lovers Rock sub-genre. A former member, with Pauline Catlin and Caron Wheeler, of the lovers rock trio Brown Sugar. Embarked on a solo career in the mid-1980s working in the Lovers Rock, general Reggae and Soul/R&B fields. Achieved British Reggae Chart placings with both Brown Sugar and as a solo artiste.
