Album US 2007 on Kimono Music label
Hip-Hop/Rap and Rock
Koncrete K returned to the studio with determination in late 2005, infusing the hard rock guitar riffs of Chuck LaMar with the hip hop style production of Roc E Wrek and the scratchtacular turntablism of DJ EFX. The new album, simply entitled "Koncrete K", was a labor of love, and was the result of many months of truly colaborative jam sessions and improvisational production. The band allowed themselves the freedom to experiment, and produced a far more personal experience for the listener. "Koncrete K" was recorded at Elevate Recording Studios in Edgewood MD by Andy Valerie and was mixed by Jake Mossman at Sheffield Studios.
