Konrad Dryden

Dr. Konrad Dryden is a music historian and author supplying articles and program notes. He was born in California to a British father (descendant of poet laureate John Dryden) and a German mother (descendant of Ignaz von Rudhart, Prime Minister to King Otto of Bavaria and Greece). He wrote the monographs Riccardo Zandonai, a Biography (Peter Lang, 1999) and Leoncavallo: Life and Works (Scarecrow Press, Langham, Md. and Oxford, 2007).
