Koohnka's first contact with electronic music was in the early 90's. It arrived to Hungary with Chicago-house and Detroit acid house. He found the well known Technics 1210 MK2 recorder in 1993 and realized what does „love at first sight” mean. From that time the basic of his sound is house music with smaller changes and improvements, and in 1999 he got to deep house. He got a big influence by drum&bass as well what was strong and atmospherical in the middle of 90's. Koohnka bought his first records in 1999 and without care about trends and commercialization of the culture he still uses vinyls. He has got a wide range of records so he is known not just as a DJ but as a collector too. His big dream came true when he got a request to join the Private Sounds team among those DJs/producers whom he had already respected for a long time. They are Forteba, FromP60, Stone and Lank. In Koohnka's definition music is a medium for strong feelings. When he plays, he gives small pieces from his finest personality, tells a story and invites the audience for a wonderful journey, while puts something more to positive thoughts and development. He never cared about commerce trends and never wanted to serve the „surface”. Koohnka learnt for a technological engineer but at the age of 24 a big change came in his approach as he wanted to care with people. In civil life he is a masseur therapist at world famous Frenák Pál Compagnie. His musical confession is: „The deep and determined sounded house is an interesting, pleasurable journey!”
