Kool M is a French DJ and Beatmaker born in 1969. During his childhood at home listening to music and his musical influences are Stevie Wonder, the disco, the French song, the Latin music, Arab music and also classic. Later he will listen to the Alternative Rock and House. * 1983 * He discovers the Hip Hop with his lifelong friend via G Soul Radio 7, they will dance and tag together. * 1984 * After seeing the movie Beat Street he wanted to do the same thing as the DJ of the film and started collecting vinyls, a15 years and it begins to animate party with Soul G. * 1985 * created the SOS (Sons of the Soul) with Soul G. * 1986 * it will host a radio show called "FCDRap" on the radio Rambouillet high school with a friend. * 1987 * Entering BCK posse that become Authentik Force with him on the turntables. * 1988 * animates Rap party in Plaisir with Soul G, Crazy B & Faster Jay. During a Christmas Eve evening organized in a squat with DJ Deenasty on the turntables, he will know Mr Dean, with whom he will make many trips abroad and which will incorporate the Nothing But Soul team in 1997. * 1989 * Participates in the only Cup Paris DJs and finished 7th. * 1990 * Creation of the group Soul System with DOG and Soul G and first trip to the US. * 1994 * The same year he met via open mic scene a young rap group from Elancourt managed by Goz named Ultimate Coalition, this young group included Ekoué,Le Bavar, La figure de Paria as rappers, Rissno & Greg as dancers and programming Jany. DJ Kool M becomes for scenes and began producing and remixing songs for the group. Ekoué meet shortly after Hame, a Perpignan rapper who integrate the group and thus create La Rumeur, Ekoué Le Poison d’Avril, Hamé Le Franc Tireur, Philippe Le Bavar , Mourad La Figure de Paria on the mic, Kool M & Soul G turntables & production and Rissno as Manager. From 1996 to 2002 he produced many pieces to La Rumeur, from Le Volets to the album L’Ombre sur la Mesure. * 1995 * Creation with Soul G and Goz of Back to the Beat (1st French Breakbeat vinyl) artwork by Seeho and Dwayne Rock. Through its multiple connections with the sphere DJ's will convict numbers of them to participate in this project over five years will invite big names Djing at the time to produce a piece dedicated to the art of Turntablism such as: QBert , Noise, Crazy B, Cut Killer, Grazzhoppa, etc ... * 1996 * It becomes resident DJ of theCafé de la Plage in Maurepas every Friday night and opens the concert by Groovy sessions, Funk & Hip Hop. * 1997 * Is regularly invited in the jury of the DMC, the Nothing But Soul team proposes to prepare a series of 5 Back to the Beat volumes dedicated to the DMC World Championships to be held in 1998 in Paris as Battle weapon tools. * 2000 * Kool M and Soul Kool G split the Nothing But Soul to devote themselves fully to the group La Rumeur. That's a total of 10 volumes that will be produced for Back to the Beat. * 2004 * At the exit of the 2nd album Regain de Tension after the birth of her first child Kool M decided to stop production and the scenes and became the Manager of Label La Rumeur Records since its creation in dealing with the administrative aspect. He held this position for 9 years by participating more than great scenes of the group (Olympia, Trabendo, La Cigale, the roundabout Theatre, Festival of Huma, Festivals, etc ..) it will gave its place as Manager to Hamé and Ekoué in 2013 but staying associated in the label, as well as La Rumeur Filme , the Entertainment production company of La Rumeur.
