Kool-Whip was a Dale Henderson side project, after Beowülf split in 1995. Besides Henderson, who played guitar, line-up consisted of other Beowülf members from the "Un-Sentimental" album line-up: Rich Rowan (drums) and Kevin Sullivan (bass), with addition of Gimmi Smith (guitar). Kool-Whip had a more hard rock sound than Beowülf. They played clubs and released two albums - "The Now", which was nominated for best rock album at the 2002 L.A. Music Awards, and "Dirty Movie" in 2007. Despite Kool-Whip's apparent success, Dale Henderson, resurrected Beowülf in the early 2000s, and continues to record and perform with them.
