A.k.a. Analog Trip DJ Kosmas Kumiko (2) Resample
Kosmas Katimertzis (born 1972) is the owner of Elektrik Dreams Music (www.elektrikdreamsmusic.com). At the early age of 17 the young artist experimented with monophonic analog synthesizers, drum computers and vinyl, and played at local bars. While studying at the university a few years later, he became part of an electro group called VCF, already known for their live gigs at Athens popular clubs Factory, DOM and the Wild Rose. Officially he entered in the electronic scene in 1996 along with George Moog with a CD which was circulated 25.000 times by Lemon (Magazine), a well known Dance magazine of that period. Since this success, which included airplay on Greek radio stations Cool FM, Life FM, Klik FM and Best Radio, Analog Trip was referenced by many Greek artists and was invited to play his sets on various classic dance floors like Plan B, Face the music, Camel Club, Astron, Orbit, Zoo, Loop (resident DJ for 8 continuous years) and Mommys. During the summer the artist also appeared on locations Paros & Naxos, Monastiri, Linardo, Santa Maria, Cafe Del Mar and Splash Naxos among others to promote his music. Analog Trip's music has appeared on Gravity Records (4) compilations "Galleraki Cocktail Bar - Mykonos Vol. II - A Cocktail Of Chillout Moods And Grooves" and "Caprice Cafe - The Collection", presenting a more atmospheric style but always accompanied with his own freestyle/tribal/deep and tech sound. He has worked with artists Nikos Diamantopoulos, Blend Mishkin, Addex, George Apergis, Ilias Katelanos, Leo Mars and others. Additionally, he has played in European Music Day and many other festivals. In 2008 he created his own record label called Elektrik Dreams Music and released several remixes on labels as Ready Mix Records, Blue Orb Records, Family Grooves, Purple Sun Records, Dark Pleasure Records, Klik Records and Ambiosphere Recordings.
