Album UK 1997 on Kling Klang label
Electronic (Electro, Synth-pop)
Box set compilation of four 12" singles, promo-only release ahead of Kraftwerk's appearance at the Tribal Gathering techno festival. 250 box sets, with 1000 copies of the singles were also distributed individually. Some box sets also included a black "Roboter" motif T shirt (size XL) and some have an accompanying EMI press release. The singles are pressed on 180g vinyl, each have a laminated white card cover with a black and red 'Roboter' motif and a cellophane-lined paper inner sleeve. The box is black, with 'Roboter' motif in white on the front lid. The surface of the box is glossy but unlaminated, so it is easily marked with scratches – mint copies will be increasingly rare. Includes a unique instrumental edit of Trans Europe Express. Kling Klang Musik/EMI Music Publishing Made in the UK 1997
