"Shalder Geo" is a suite by Kristian Blak based on traditional vocal and instrumental material from the Faroe Islands and the neighbouring Shetlan Islands. Compositions and improvisations based on Shetland folk music (1,2,3,8,9,10,14,15,16) and Faroese traditional songs (4,5,6,7,11,12,13) Recorded May-June 1997 at Útvarp, Føroya, Tóshavn, Faroe Island Mixed in Media Sound Studios, Copenhagen, Denmark Manufactured in Germany This recording was made possible by grants from Mentunargrunni Føroya Løgtings, KODA's Kollektive Båndmiller, Felagi Føroysk Tonaskøld ℗ 1997
