Album 2009 on Left Hand Records label
Electronic, Rock and Spoken Word (Abstract, Noise, Power Electronics, Ambient)
From the desk of Kristian Day: In 2001, I was first exposed to noise music. I was up late at night in my basement reading about the history of industrial music and stumbled on bands like Throbbing Gristle, SPK, and Merzbow. The concept of using electronics that were not meant to be used in music interested me greatly. As I have said in the past, I don’t play in bands because I don’t like remembering how to play songs. This concept was almost entirely based on free-form. I wanted to be able generate some type of audio that did not require me to have to learn any type of musical theory. Although I really just created my own in the process. Machines Used: radio, broken turntable, broken tape deck, guitar pedals, and speakers reversed as microphones.
